Research Activities Entry
- If I wish to do multiple entries for Conference Presentations & Articles in Proceedings, which record I have to add first?

- Conference Presentations.

- I wrote an article to present in a conference with someone from MSME/AU, why I cannot add these names when I add a Conference Presentations record?

- Typically, only one faculty member from MSME/AU would be funded to travel to a conference and present his/her paper; not multiple coauthors from the same school. Once you update the Conference Presentation record (and duplicate to the Article in Proceedings, you can then update the Article in Proceedings later.

- How do I interpret Journal Quality?

- As of October 2018, journal quality is as follows:
- A* - ABDC*
 - A - ABDC
 - B - SCI/SSCI
 - C - SCOPUS
 - D - Cabell/EBSCO
 - E - TCI Tier 1
 - F - TCI Tier 2

- As of October 2018, journal quality is as follows:

General Issues
- When we mouse-over journal title in the Journals Records screen, SEDONA displays Tooltip saying "Although this journal currently has a quality rating of 'x', it had a quality rating of 'x' ." Does SEDONA track journal ranking?

- No, the message indicates that there is a difference in quality rating between what is stored with the article record and what the journal is currently rated. The quality rating is not tracked over time.

- If I wish to do multi-year entries for items such as service activities (e.g., I serve in AoL committee for 4 years), can I do that?

- Yes, when you put the entry in, make sure you hold Ctrl + Click the year that you served. For example, you can choose 2016-2017 and 2018-2019. Note that these two-year entries are tied together as a Group records. Any change you made to either of the two will affect both entries.
