There are two steps to achieve this task. First, upload image(s) to the designated folder. Second, add an article to the designated category (and then point the uploaded image to the article).

Upload an Image

Navigate to Content / Media

Error creating thumbnail: File missing

Locate the designated folder Most likely you will be updating news:

  • go to news / year
  • add the photo here

In this example, we will add a featured alumni article, so go to alumni folder

Add the image here, press Upload

The article image (at least 200x200, but depending on the original dimension)

Typical image sizes

There are two kinds of images

Intro: appears with the intro text. Typically we want a small (but wide image) here e.g., 680 x 330 Full Article: shows in the full article, e.g. 680 x 970 for a portrait image

  • Category
    • Notable Alumni
  • Tags
    • alumni

Search an article Sometime you may want to search an article:

  1. Search Tools
  2. Here you can select search criteria
    • Search tag “alumni” to see other alumni articles

Assign the uploaded image to the article

  • Go to the "Image and Links" tab of the Edit Article page
  • Add Intro and/or Full Article image that you uploaded in the previous step.
